"Hankley Halloween Hustle"

A New 10 mile cross-country event held on the scenic Hankley Common in Surrey, this is a Special Site of Scientific interest with stunning views on a clear day, but the course has been designed to include all aspects of the common, so expect some mud, sand, rocks and hills. If you like a challenging run with beautiful scenery - this is it !
ARC permit granted. Held under ARC rules – Minimum Age 17 years on the day

Race details
Event starts at 11.00 am. Collect race number on the day (allow time for this!)
Medal for every finisher. Results will be published on the BVR web site
Fees: £12.00 if affiliated to ARC or UKA - £14.00 if unattached. NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY
Facilities: There are toilet facilities but no changing facilities in the DZ Hut car park area. It's a 3 minute walk from the car park to the start/finish.

Venue: Hankley Common DZ Huts, Off Thursley Rd, Elstead. GU8 6LW approx. OS 186/888411
Getting there: Heading south on the A3 from the Guildford direction, take the Thursley exit and drive though Thursley village on Dye House Road. At the T-junction turn right onto Thursley Road towards Elstead. After 1 mile, at a sharp bend with a "DZ Huts" sign on the right, TURN LEFT into the Hankley area. Drive along the road past the public car park on the left, through the barrier, down the hill, and parking is on the left in the DZ Hut area. Please park neatly and tightly as instructed by the marshals.
Footwear/clothing: Trail shoes are recommended. It will be chilly on the open hills unless the weather is unseasonably warm.
Route: The 10 mile marked route is on tracks and footpaths within the Hankley area, and includes some great views. There are some steep hills and some tough sandy sections, and in places there are rocks and roots to negotiate.
Water stops: There will be 2 water stops en route, and water is also available at the finish.
